HEART OF THE NATION COMMUNITIES HOST AN AED TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully - you role in the program is important.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BEING A HEART OF THE NATION AED HOST SITE

By agreeing to host an AED, you are agreeing to play an important role in the success of this program to help save lives in your community.

Once you receive the AED package, Heart of the Nation no longer has any claim over the goods that form part of the package, and the ownership vests in the hands of those who have agreed to contribute to the funding of the package.

Heart of the Nation will provide ongoing support and guidance, but is not responsible for the goods that form part of the package purchased.

As a Heart of the Nation (HotN) Communities AED Host (Host), you are agreeing to be the Liaison between your community and Heart of the Nation.

Heart of the Nation will require you to notify them upon any of the following events occurring:

The AED being used - at a minimum, when the pads have been opened;

The AED being moved to a different location in the community and/or;

You move from the place where the AED is hosted, and a new Liaison is either appointed, or needs to be appointed.

As the Host, you will ensure that regular checks of the AED are performed and logged on our platform at no less than monthly intervals.

You will provide Heart of the Nation with at least one other person's contact details at a different address to the one where the AED is being hosted so that person can also receive text messages when the AED has been moved.

You agree that you will contact your own home and/or contents insurance company to enquire as to the potential insurability of the AED in the location selected - various insurance companies may insure the AED at your address pending where and how it is situated on your property.
